Young Creation Companionship

The network of European companionship structures is coordinated by the French organization Mezzanine Spectacles. The Network’s first four-day meeting was organized in May 2014 in Paris and included a series of roundtables, presentations, debates, and workshops open to all attendees. The objectives of the meeting were to define companionship in its diversity of forms and practice (informal training, tutoring, mentoring, and consulting) and to offer a collective contribution to the opening up of the European art markets. Objectives were successfully met and implemented in new projects and initiatives. The meeting was supported by the Youth in Action Program and involved 16 members from 8 European countries, including Lab 852.
